2012 Sponsored Employee Program temporary position

  United Way Position:
Unitedwaytoronto.ca   Candidates must be prepared to commit to the full 15 week program. An honorarium of $510 per week will be paid.   MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:   *  Support workplace volunteers in planning and execution of employee workplace campaigns
*  Develop relationships with and provide excellent customer service to workplace volunteers
*  Attend campaign meetings and events as required
*  Provide workplaces with campaign materials and arrange for speakers and tours
*  Deliver training sessions, speeches and presentations to workplace volunteers and employees
*  Track campaign progress identifying challenges and solutions with guidance from United Way staff
*  Collect pledges and funds raised from workplaces and submit accurately for processing
*  Ensure workplaces and volunteers receive appropriate recognition
*  Complete a detailed final report on all assigned United Way workplace campaigns   Ideal candidate:   * Goal oriented and seeking new challenges
* A problem solver who thrives in a team environment
* A potential leader who is passionate about the community
* Confident, adaptable and flexible with a “can do” attitude   Qualifications:   * Sales and customer service skills
* Teamwork and interpersonal skills
* Public speaking skills
* Leadership skills
* Time and project management skills
