This session we will have a guest speaker, Desiree Walsh, performing some of her stand-up comedy and speaking about her process for comedy writing and what comedy and disability means to her.

Desiree Walsh Is a comedian with cerebral palsy. A former competitive swimmer, she traded in early mornings swim workouts for the late nights of stand-up comedy. She has been featured on Breakfast Television, The Reel Abilities Film Festival Comedy Night, ALTdot comedy Lounge and the now defunct show Nighttime TV on Rogers cable Mississauga.

CILT Peer Connect is a virtual peer support opportunity for adults with disabilities that operates within the Independent Living Philosophy.
