We invite 2SLGBTQIA+ Deaf and Disabled folks to join us for a free 8-week program where you will build storytelling skills, gain digital creation capacity and create a finished project that shares your lived experience. Participants will have the option to share their final story creations on CILT’s website and social media.
We are using broad definitions of “Disability” here with the recognition that not everyone identifies as disabled. We recognize that ableism, audism and sanism can be experienced no matter what your relationship to the term “Disability.” In this program we will honour the language participants use to self-identify.
When: 8 Monday afternoons in May, June and July from 1pm-4pm over Zoom
Dates:
May 9, May 16, May 30
June 6, June 13, June 27
