I HateHateHate change.
It is one of my greatest fears
dangerous
unexpected
makes me feel unmoored
discombobulated
melancholy
And change is constant
watch the moon
travel half the sky
Lunar eclipse inviting disruption.
Making strange.
There are things I don’t want to change
but I know inevitably will.
Seasons change
with weather, access changes
Systems change
Need an attitude change.
If not me, then who?
Take an old seed but plant it somewhere new
Spend the loose change waiting on my dresser
I am totally different, are you just like you used to be?
The more I change
the more I come home to myself,
same as ever.
