Centre for Independent Living in Toronto (CILT) invites you to commemorate Truth and Reconciliation Week on Zoom! 

Description: Elder Whitebird will bless the event, share teachings on Truth and Reconciliation and answer audience questions. Learn more about:  

-Indigenous Peoples, their lands, and effects of colonization  

-Ways to honour Indigenous survivors  

-Intergenerational impacts of residential schools  

-The significance of Orange Shirt Day   

-Ways settler allies can foster progress on Truth and Reconciliation 

When: Friday September 29, 2023, 1:00-2:30 PM Eastern Time (Canada)
