The Accessibility Directorate of Ontario is going to hold three focus groups as they are building the specific standards of the AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act). These focus groups are specifically for people with disabilities, and are an opportunity for us to have our voices, needs and realities heard as this important legislation is brought forth. And you will get paid $50 for your contribution! These focus groups will be held on May 23 (evening) and May 24 (afternoon and evening) at the ADO office at 400 University Ave. Each session will last between one hour and an hour and a half. Interested? Please contact Brian Kon, Senior Consultant, Accessibility Services of Ontario March of Dimes at 647-298-3463 by Friday, May 12, 2006.
