The fifth Innoversity Summit will be held on October 24th at the Marriott Hotel near the Eaton Centre in Toronto. It is a Summit for persons with disabilities who want to further develop their careers in the media, or are looking into the possibility of a career in the media industry. The Summit is one of the most inclusive events in this Industry. There are hundreds of different kinds of jobs needed by any media organization, both in front of and behind the camera of microphone.
Bursaries to attend the Summit are now available. Canwest MediaWorks Bursaries offer a $200 subsidy on registration for the Innoversity Summit and Delegates will pay 35 dollars plus GST at the door.
These scholarships and bursaries are in addition to earlier scholarships offered by CHUM and the CBC which have already been awarded. Applications for a scholarship or a bursary will be received up until October 11th.
