More than 1.5 million Ontarians will be better prepared for a disaster as a result of the publication of the new Emergency Preparedness Guide for People with Disabilities and/or Special Needs, Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services Monte Kwinter announced May 11th, 2007.
The 22-page guide offers specific emergency preparedness tips and advice for people with mobility, vision or hearing disabilities and for seniors with special needs.
