Transitional Housing and Support Program For Abuse Women The Transition Housing and Support Program aims to provide services through support, counseling, advocacy, and referral to all women in particular, women living with disabilities, in establishing violence free lives in their community.
- The Transitional Housing and Support Worker will provide support to women in crisis, as well as on-going counseling.
- The Transitional Housing and Support Worker will help women plan for themselves and their children if they are planning to leave a violent partner, and will help them make the transition into safe housing.
- The Transitional Housing and Support Worker will provide information and referrals to other community supports and services.
- The Transitional Housing and Support Worker will advocate for women, and accompany women to appointments for family, criminal, income, housing, and immigration.
- The Transitional Housing and Support Worker will help women find and maintain housing that is safe and affordable
- ASL and cultural interpretation will be provided.
