The Good Neighbours’ Club is a not-for profit organization operating a day centre for older homeless/unemployed men in the downtown Toronto (Queen/Jarvis) area. We provide essential services to our members from 7am to 7pm daily. The Senior Cook position reports to the Associate Executive Director, and is responsible for the delivery and supervision of all aspects of the daily congregate food service program. The incumbent coordinates and supervises the duties of staff and a diverse volunteer team. The Senior Cook is also responsible for menu planning & meal preparation, and the acquisition, receipt, inventory control and safe storage of all food-stuffs and related food service materials.
