Toronto, Ontario- March 9, 2009. On January 22, Mary Louise Dickson, received Ontario’s highest honour, the Order of Ontario. This occurred quietly and without fanfare. In fact many of us did not know until quite late after the fact. She was inducted along with such people as former Premier David Peterson and the late Dr. Sheila Basur known for her work during the Toronto SARS crisis.
