Located in Toronto, ERDCO (Ethno-Racial people with Disabilities Coalition of Ontario) is a voluntary, non-profit organization, committed to promoting respect for ethno racial people with disabilities of all ages, cultures, languages, and religions, consistent with the principles of anti-racism, anti-oppression, universal access and inclusion.
The position: This is a contractual, half-time (18.5 hours per week) position for a one year term, scheduled to begin in September 2009 and end in September 2010. A subsequent contract may be offered should funding be available. The salary for the year will be within the range of $17,000 to $20,000.
The Co-ordinator will provide support to the Board of Directors and membership of ERDCO to further the development of ERDCO and to enable it to carry out its strategic plan. The Co-ordinator will maintain a home office but must be available to attend meetings in Toronto at various times, including Saturdays and evenings. The Co-ordinator is responsible to the Board of Directors but will take direction on a day-to-day basis from the Chair of the Board or his/her designate.
