The Toronto Star and National Post report that (p 4-5) a Mississauga couple have been charged with neglecting an autistic relative for more than seven years before the woman was found dead in April. The married couple were charged Monday, nearly four months after the lifeless body of the 23 year old woman was found in the basement of the home she shared with her adopted sister and the woman’s husband. The 31 year-old woman and her 32-year-old husband are charged with criminal negligence causing death and failure to provide the necessities of life.
