MIT neuroscientists who study blindness and cognition are recruiting congenitally blind adults for an online behavioral research study.
The study takes a total of 4-8 hours, and may be done in small segments and from home or in a laboratory in Cambridge.
During the study, participants listen to pairs of words, and rate how similar they are in meaning. Participants are compensated $120 for completion of the survey.
To qualify for the study, participants must: 1. Be blind from birth, with at most minimal light perception. 2. Have no known neurological or cognitive disabilities, such as epilepsy, or brain damage. 3. Have English as their native language.
