Campaign: Fully Accessible Transit Is Critical To People With Disabilities

This spring the Toronto Transit Commission announced it intends to contravene the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act by reneging on its commitment to full station accessibility by 2025.   SCI Ontario has come up with an easy way for people to urge Toronto’s mayoral candidates, their local city councillor and the Chair of the TTC  to make Toronto’s Transit fully accessible.   Please visit SCI Ontario website and fill the form to tell candidates that fully accessible transit is critical to people with disabilities, and that contravening the AODA and the slow pace of station retrofitting is not acceptable.
