A 2 hour workshop delivered virtually by CILT’s Inclusion of Disability Equity
and Access (IDE+A) Training team.
This IDE+A Project training may give your organization a better
understanding of disability and access as integral to effective Diversity,
Equity and Inclusion work and provide you with strategies to improve
access at the service user, staff and management levels. Its main aim is
to support progress on disability inclusion in Toronto’s non-profit sector.
Learning Objectives:
-Recognize Accessibility as foundational DEI work
-Understand disability as part of human diversity
-Recognize rights, roles and responsibilities
-Explore ways to actively practice anti ableism
-Identify and apply disability justice principles
