Calling all artists!
In anticipation of the unveiling of CILT’s new 2026–2031 strategic plan, we are pleased to introduce a new initiative, “CILT’s Canvas: Envisioning Our Values.” This initiative will commission a paid work of art that celebrates the values guiding CILT and our community into the next chapter.
Who should apply:
- Deaf/disabled artists with lived experience of disability and other equity‑deserving identities
- Artists who enjoy creating symbolic, metaphor‑driven visual work inspired by shared values
- Those based in Toronto/GTA, or able to travel to CILT’s Toronto office for a few in‑person storyboarding sessions
- Artists who are open to a collaborative, values‑based process and comfortable receiving feedback from a small staff group while staying true to their creative voice
