Convened by the Centre for Independent Living in Toronto (CILT), the GTA Disability Coalition is a network of disability-led and allied organizations that mobilizes to influence systems change solutions to disability poverty, housing and transit inaccessibility. As part of the launch of their new website, they have started a newsletter!

Crucial work they are engaging in right now includes:
- Social Planning Toronto’s City for All campaign to ensure disability representation and concerns our communities face are embedded in the City of Toronto’s fall election.
- Developing a submission for the National Housing Council’s Review Panel on the Lack of Accessible Housing in Canada to inform all layers of government about the grave need for accessible and affordable housing.
- Ongoing participation with TTCriders to protect door-to-door Wheel-Trans service and fare capping.
