ERDCO’s Capacity Building and Advocacy Project

Published: February 26, 2008

As a person with a disability have you felt excluded because of your Disability, Culture, Race, Religion or Gender? Would you like to expand knowledge and skills to tell your stories? Advocate together to strengthen the capacity of the disability movement?    Participate in ERDCO´S Capacity Building and Advocacy Project(CAP), a series of workshops and public meetings, from March -May 2008. The events will expand capacity on such issues as Human Rights and Accommodations, public speaking skills and self/collective advocacy, and will be led by inspirational speakers and facilitators from our community.    An honorarium of $50 will be provided to participants who commit to attendance at all 5 events.  Workshops will take place at Anne Johnston Health Station, 2398 Yonge Street, two blocks north of Yonge and Eglinton.
For more information, contact ERDCO at 416-657-2211 or at erdco_ca@yahoo.ca
