Looking for People who use Attendant Services and Attendants who Provide Services to People with Disabilities for Survey

Published: January 7, 2010

The Sexuality and Access Project is looking for attendants to participate in an anonymous survey which is part of a larger project which includes looking at issues related to workplace safety, training needs, and areas of support for attendants around the issue of healthy sexual expression for people you are providing services to.

The Sexuality and Access Project is funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The goal of the project is to give Ontarians with disabilities greater control over their lives by providing them and their personal service attendants with the skills and knowledge to protect and develop their sexual health and safety.

If you provide attendant services or know anyone who does, please consider taking our survey and sharing it with your co-workers.  You may take the survey online by clicking here.

If you don’t have access to the Internet and would like to participate in a phone survey please contact Fran Odette at the information below.

There is also a survey for people with disabilities who use attendant services. If you would be interested in completing the survey, click here.   To learn more about the project or to receive a version of the online survey in alternate format contact:

Fran Odette, Project Coordinator at 416-968-3422 Ext. 30 or at f.odette@gmail.com

This project is done in partnership with the Centre for Independent Living in Toronto, Niagara Centre for Independent Living, and Independent Centre and Network.
