Active and Able at Birchmount Bluffs Neighbourhood Centre

Published: August 29, 2013

The Fall 2013 Birchmount Bluffs Neighbourhood Centre brochure is now out and available on their website.   In it you will find programs that are suitable for people with all types of fitness and wellness goals, advocacy needs, and civic engagement opportunities.   In addition to the programs offered by Active and Able, there are a wide variety of programs and activities at BBNC that are able to be integrated and several of our fitness classes can be done entirely seated.    Some upcoming events include the Healing with Kitchen Herbs workshop (September 13th),  the Social Action Committee’s meetings and agency wide events such as the AGM and Community Barbeque (September 12th).    Program subsidies are available through our Open Door Policy and BBNC Membership – required to participate in all BBNC programming – is currently $15 a year for adults and seniors or $40 for a family.
For more information, contact Judith Allen, Coordinator, Active and Able Programs at  416-396-7583 or judith@bbnc.ca.
