The below notice is from the University of Toronto – Physical Therapy recruiting for participants to take part in a study.
STUDY PURPOSE:
To explore how disabled women and disabled gender-diverse individuals who are both caregivers and care receivers navigating rehabilitation and health services in rural and urban Ontario.
LOCATION: University of Toronto, Virtual interviews (Zoom)
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
- 18 years of age or older
- Reside in Ontario
- Self-identify as disabled
- Self-identify as a woman or gender diverse
- Both a care giver AND care recipient
- Are able to participate comfortably in an interview conducted in English
- Are able to provide independent consent
- Have access and/or can access the internet, a device with a camera, and able to comfortably use Zoom for the interview
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
- Meet with a team member to learn more about the study, determine eligibility and have your questions answered (30-40min)
- Participate in one interview that will be 60-90 minutes
- Interview will be virtual using Zoom
- Complete a demographic questionnaire (10 minutes)
- Participants will receive a $50 e-gift card in recognition of their time
