Come out to Citizens with Disabilities Ontario’s “Night at the Races” Fundraiser at the Rideau-Carleton Racetrack on Thursday, May 12th at 6:00 pm! Tickets are $40, which includes the buffet. Must be 19 years or older to attend.
Proceeds go towards the Youth Activist Forum hosted by CWDO in partnership with the Council of Canadians with Disabilities. This unique initiative will bring youth together in Ottawa in June. Youth will meet new and established athletes, artists and leaders with disabilities. The Youth Activist Forum was recently featured in an article by Helen Henderson in the Toronto Star:
